“Stayed at the George Washington in room 6 on 15th July. Room very nice and clean with tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer provided flatscreen tv and nice shower and towels. “Check-in was a faff. Expedia states 15:00 check in but there is a note on the door which says 16:00. The door was locked, we couldn’t wait until 16:00. We phoned and finally managed to speak to someone who opened the door and checked us in. The room was clean but needs some TLC - marks on the inside of the door at the bottom and some damage in places to the roof. No instructions on checkout and again the pub door was locked so we just put the key through the door.”

“The Red Dragon is advertised as "Has Onsite parking Very Rare for location. That was the reason we booked it. When we arrived we discovered it has zero parking. The manager and staff apologised and advised where we should park. the town is short of longterm parking. We ended up spening a lot of time driving around and paying a lot for overnight parking. The rooms are fine. the breakfast very good, the Staff friendly and helpful”
