Vacations Close To Baldur Ferry Terminal

The property is convenient. I was on the highway in a minute. I had the room on the end, which had some road noise. Just ask for another room. Desk staff is efficient and helpful.

The hotel is quite old and it certainly feels and looks it. There is no bellman service to bring bags up or down from the room. When requesting laundry service we were advised to take out bags down. Our room was right in front of the square and was quite noisy every night and early morning. The breakfast selection seems lacking specially in terms of fresh fruit selection. Housekeeping did not clean the rooms thorouhhly specially the bathrooms. For the price there have to be better options in Reykjavik. Pretty disappointing stay. Not worth the money charged for a suite room. I would not stay here again.

The staff were very friendly and helpful especially when we requested early check-in and needed to order taxis. The bar staff were also very friendly and engaged in meaningful conversation. Rooms were very clean. The free cookies were an added treat but free coffee would have made our day.

Clean room, perfect location, adding breakfast is a must!
