Vacations Close To Ten Mile Lake Provincial Park

Unfortunately the pool was closed for maintenance, they were adding chemicals. We were a group of 6 friends & asked if we could simply sit in the pool area on the lawn chairs and were told no because of this inconvenience we were virtually left with no slit to enjoy the beautiful day. If not for this would certainly had given a higher rating. Everything else was good with the property

Check in was easy, the room was clean and comfortable, and the property is well maintained. Would be nice to see some ice machines on more than just the top floor but that’s being picky.

Good place to stay for a night or 2 for hikers, bikers, fishing etc or whale watching tours. No tv or a/c in most rooms. Reception area has TV all sorts of games and books to pass time. Breakfast was good. Staff friendly. Clean rooms and facilities.

Room didn't have soap for the bathroom, which is fine by the way, but when I asked the front desk they were unable to assist so I had to go out and buy my own soap! Also, when checking out and putting my stuff in the car, a staff member came out and told me to settle up at the front desk. They didn't want to honor my Expedia transaction and asked me to pay for the two nights at a much higher rate. After a bit of back and fourth, and showing proof of the transaction, they finally agreed to let it go. They weren't rude or anything, they just didn't know how to process things through Expedia. They are under new management, which is very obvious, so book with a little understanding until they are more established.

The staff were happy, friendly and helpful but the hotel is dire. Old, dated, grubby, stained, badly maintained (eg holes in walls where fixtures had been removed not made good, dirty and stained carpets, smelly pillows, musty aroma in bedroom.
