“Vaughan and Sharon are wonderful hosts. They made us feel like valued guests in their B&B (Guesthouse). Our room was the attic twin (top small windows in the picture), so lots of steps in this historic building, with a nice hot shower and views of downtown. The location is great too, right downhill from the Dover Castle and very convenient to shopping and downtown Dover. The included breakfast was fresh and delicious, with a nice option for a vegetarian full English including veggie sausage.”

“Staff very friendly and helpful. A great position for the sea, train station and lots of eating places nearby. Great to have air conditioning with the hot weather, didn’t have a sea view but looks an amazing view of the pier. Would definitely recommend.”

“Margaret was incredibly helpful in providing suggestions on how to navigate the city and provided excellent suggestions for restaurants. The morning breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Our room was very spacious, the couch was very comfortable and the bed was fantastic. After a full day of walking around Dover, this was a very special retreat. The views are just amazing. We will plan a trip to spend more time with Margaret.”

“The hotel has a good restaurant menu, and a pool / sauna area (with a small fee), so it was good on that area, but be mindful that it's a live enterntainment venue almost every night and that music will be loud and audible in the lower floors (1st, and beyond with open windows), so this isn't a quiet place. if you can, stay in higher floors, but this isn't guaranteed when booking.”

“This place should not be open for business. The elevator didn’t work. There were handicapped people who had to basically crawl up the stairs. Our room wasn’t clean the air conditioning worked well but it leaked and the condensation was pouring out onto the carpet which was literally so wet it saturated our luggage. The manager was apologizing for the situation but couldn’t offer a room change since they were booked according to him. We paid for two nights and left after the first night to...
