“Great rural location (i am not a golfer), really nice room, clean and comfortable and reasonably stylish. Only let downs were; paper thin walls so could hear quiet conversations in the adjacent rooms, and a noisy shower (neighbour showered at 1am!). it was a heatwave; room fans were provided but it would have been good to fully ventilate the rooms. Due to work commitments i had to leave before breakfast so can't comment on that.”

“Older property showing some wear and tear. Check in wasn’t too great, as we waited over 20 minutes with no one at the desk and were continually told they were having a busy day. While that’s okay, an option to leave our bags would have been nice. “The big plus is the swimming pool / jacuzzi / steam room and the very well equipped gym. The room was very pleasant and well appointed and the bed very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food and drinks were good. If I had to be critical I would say the buffet breakfast was poor with no pastries or fresh fruit salad, bread for toasting etc. There were cooked breakfast choices from the menu but if you are a continental breakfast type person it wasn't great value.
