Excellent stay few minutes from Taos Plaza. Surrounded by huge cotton woods, charming room vaulted ceilings and vigas, Planning on another, pet friendly trip back soon. Best stay for us in Taos over the years!

The architecture is beautiful, the courtyard is a wonderful place to hang out and have a drink and visit with your neighbors- we especially loved how friendly everyone was about our cute little Jack Russell’s being with us 💜 The location is awesome, we easily ebiked to town! We will stay here again when we visit this lovely town.

We loved our stay, especially since we booked very last minute after arriving at a different accommodation that wasn’t suitable. Palacio was inviting and clean and comfortable. Staff is amazing. Breakfast is lovely. Our room was spacious and clean. We would absolutely come back.

Overall, the property was charming, well located to the Town Centre & our room was clean & comfortable. However, given the scale of the property, it lacks a number of amenities which is somewhat augmented by access to their sister property - El Monte Sagrado (less than 5 minutes away). Breakfast is included but limited. The check-in/departure experience was not seamless & felt more like an AirBNB offering.

Great place walkable to town but peaceful and quiet. Staff was excellent, property was very clean and the room was very comfortable and relaxing. The included breakfast was tasty and served at a large table where the guests could interact with each other. It has kind of a B&B feel to it…very nice.

We loved the Matriarch room. Beautiful property. For some reasons, no one set up the breakfast for two of our three mornings. We had to change our plans and pay for breakfast off property. It is within walking distance of the shops. This place is a good option in Taos.

The setting was quiet and the flower garden was beautiful. The breakfast was good and fresh. However, the grounds were not swept, the door to the room was dirty, there was no central AC - just a noisy portable AC, and when the innkeeper left in the late afternoon, we were told to use a pass code to enter the registration area to get ice. The pass code didn't work for us.
