“Arrived at the property and it has closed for business leaving us stranded at the height of summer when everything is booked up. We are hours from home on a road trip.Taken our money months ago and no word from the owners, still listed online and still taking bookings. Landlord at a local pub told us tbey had gone bust. Shocking behaviour!! Beware of booking here, need to take it from your website! Doing a chargeback with credit card.”

“Being based in Bridport was excellent as each day we went somewhere different, ie Lyme Regis, Dorchester, Sidmouth, Seaton, Weymouth, West Bay and that's just the nearest ones.
The parking area was never a problem
we never had any trouble parking there. The rooms we had had plenty of space, and a little quirky which we liked.
The staff were really helpful and made our break very enjoyable.

“Very enjoyable stay at The George. Staff very helpful, breakfast was great, didn't need lunch any of the days we stayed. Room 3 was perfect for a family, two separate rooms with a bathroom in between.”

“A great breakfast, the room we had was next door to the two water heaters, making the room very hot indeed other than that a good stay and staff were very attentive, will definitely go again but not in the same room, breakfast was excellent as was the evening meal parking is good also with no extra charges.”

“A tired hotel that was quite remote. Rooms were very hot even with the windows open and were dated. The staff were very good and the meal we had from the daily restaurant menu was really delicious and of good quality. It was fine but wouldn’t return.”

“Easily accessible location with lots of parking. Hotel spacious and checking in was quick and easy. Rooms very comfortable with all the usual facilities.
Restaurant food was very good and plenty of selection for breakfast.”
