“Comfortable room in a lovely pub. Helpful, friendly staff. Great atmosphere in the pub and delicious food.”

“Excellent all around and lovely staff”

“Lovely quiet spot, great for having a drink in the garden after a day out. Pet friendly which was great. The dog was able to stay in the room and go in the bar too which was nice. Unfortunately the room was not very clean. There was dust and cobwebs everywhere. The skirting boards hadn't been touched. “Characterful thatched inn in countryside location. Comfortable room & good breakfast.”

“Only two nights , wish it was more ! Throughly enjoyed my stay , excellent service and food . Will certainly look at staying at a Chickpea pub/hotel/PIZZA 😋……. Again , thankyou !”

“Really enjoyed our stay. Also had dinner which was tasty. Breakfast was a little leisurely for us which would have been fine if we had more time.”

“Interesante, en una casa histórica.”

“Great place to stay. Spacious bedroom with a good bed and quality bedding. Radio and TV in the room plus tea and coffee making facilities plus welcome shortbread on arrival. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly. It is situated on a busy road but don’t let that put you off - see if you can get one of the quieter rooms at the back. Worth a visit and situated in a great area/countryside.”

“Lovely setting, vegetarian breakfast was very good, comfortable stay, nice walk across Harnham Water Meadows to Salisbury.”
