Vacations Close To Summit Chair

The location was really nice. We booked this lodge thinking there was going to be breakfast only to find out this was not the case. The pictures shows a dining room, but this is now a private residence. Expedia and the owners need to update the pictures for this lodge. It is completely autonomous facility. We will would have stay somewhere else since the description and pictures are not true.

Nice, clean big room. Great location.

I picked this resort because of its size and the bar. The whole time I was there the bar was not open. When we got to our room, it was supposed to be two beds and we only got one. Also, the toilet seat was a little dirty and we never got our robes. Oh and the parking sucks. Staff were great and breakfast was delicious at a reasonable price.

Having a traffic signal at the entrance to the property made driving in and out a breeze. The location is walking distance to many South Lake features. The room was bigger than expected. The bed was very comfy and we really appreciated the dual sinks in the bathroom. Our only negatives were that ‘breakfast is available at $20 per person,’ and the fact that it took way more effort than it should have to get caffeinated coffee pods for the coffee maker. It should NOT have required three trips to the office in a four hour period before our request was fulfilled.

The ladies in reception are marvelous.
