“We stayed at this hotel in Kyoto City and had a great experience! The location is very convenient—close to the subway and Nijo Castle, which made sightseeing easy. We booked the Japanese-style room that fits five people sleeping on futon beds, and it was comfortable and spacious. The hotel itself is a bit old, but it has everything you need, including a private bathroom, air conditioner, and air filter. “We had a lovely time here! We were travelling by public transport, and this spot is a little of out of the way, but they sent a shuttle to the train station and it was easy to arrive. It was not clear from their website that the restaurant would not be open for dinner, and the closest restaurant by foot (other than McDonald's) was a 30 minute walk away. That was no problem; we had a nice walk, a great dinner, and really loved the onsen!”
