Vacations Close To Sugarbush Ski Resort

I enjoyed my stay. Mike helped me within seconds when I locked myself out when I first got to the room. The room was clean. They do have Keuregs but if you want a coffee pot just call Mike. Very convenient to the airport.

We booked and paid for our stay through Expedia, and there was no clear indication that the fairly expensive accommodation price essentially covered only the room. We were very disappointed to find out that access to the pool/several slides would cost approximately an additional $300 USD for our family of four, which we simply could not justify. The accommodation itself was clean, which we appreciated, but it was extremely outdated — the room honestly felt like stepping back into the 1970s. The FunZone was another additional expense, with activities costing extra rather than being included with your stay. There was also no breakfast, snacks, or other food included in the accommodation price. Overall, this resort can become very expensive very quickly once you add the cost of the activities and amenities. For the amount we paid, we expected considerably more to be included. Unfortunately, we did not feel that the overall experience offered good value for the price.

Memories

The good: Room was clean and the beds were fine. We chose this hotel because of the location, which did not disappoint. Staff was attentive -- when you could find them. The negative: The bathroom exhaust fan ran 24/7. The seal on the shower door was rotten and mold was visible, so when someone took a shower the floor was wet and the bath mat got wasted. Lighting was mediocre. After two nights there was zero housekeeping, so we had to call for coffee and towels. Those came promptly, but still unimpressive. Breakfast was just average. Nothing that rated more than three stars, really, which is disappointing given the room rates.

The lady on duty the evening we arrived was very personable and professional. Breakfast offered great food options and our room had a very comfortable bed. Overall the staff was friendly and customer oriented. Only problem was our bathroom sink faucet water pressure was weak, which we told the lady on duty in the morning.

Only complaint is there needs to be a shade over the window in the bathroom as you can see inside it. Other than that everything else was perfect!

Rooms were clean, the staff very friendly and professional. Would recommend!
