Vacations Close To Green Mountain National Forest

The staff was very friendly and accommodating to several issues that cropped up. The room was fine and spacious. No major issues, although both treadmills being broken was surely frustrating.

Great central location and well maintained hotel. The Whip restaurant and bar was very good too.

Our room had a giant stain on the floor in the entry way like something spilled and was never properly cleaned and one of the garbage cans had trash from previous guests in it. The front desk confirmed our room had been “cleaned”, it’s a good option to stay overnight if you’re passing through. The free breakfast was delicious. Surrounding neighborhood was a bit sketchy.

Good location and extremely nice friendly staff. Excellent coffee and fresh cookies are available in lobby area as well as a very good small continental breakfast. The local Cabot Creamery yogurt and cheddar cheese are delicious. Our room was in the new section. We have stayed at many hotels over the years in Stowe and this is one of the newer and best options. My only complaint is that the chairs on our balcony and outside along the river were very dirty. I understand they are outdoors but it seems to me that they should be wiped down daily. But I would stay here again without hesitation.

We had an enjoyable stay. What really made the difference was the staff at the front desk. I had damaged my car as I was pulling in to the parking lot. We had two cars, both loaded to the tiptop as we were on our way to move my daughter into her college apartment. The one I damaged was not drive-able. Triple A towed it. My son had to drive up from our home and we had to load everything into his car. The staff at the desk was so understanding and patient when I explained my dilemma. So appreciated and so helpful.

Everything you’d want for a fun family vacation. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!
