“The hotel facilities are good. Bed is comfy, breakfast is nice. However I was attending a conference and had a parcel delivered 3 days in advance which was received by a staff member. When asking for it, they never found it. I was chasing the staff as i had to basically tell her how to proceed (contact the employee who signed up for the package and track it down, simple!). Not even the reception manager showed up to do something about it nor apologise for the situation. At the end of the day, I...

“Stayed for 1 night with work. Its a lovely old building with alot of character but the it is in need of a good update to all the corridors, stairs and other areas. The rooms have had an update and look nice though my bathroom did have a smell of stale water and as its in the town centre it was quick noisy to the point that around 5am the bin men woke me up emptying the bins with a loud bang. Personally I wouldnt stay again but can understand why some people would.”

“Great sauna/ steam room. Free parking appreciated and close to reception. Comfortable bed and large grounds. Proved to be excellent value with no extra charge for leisure facilities.”

“A once beautiful country manor hotel, but it’s a bit tired now”

“It's a pretty setting and the room was clean. They seemd a little short staffed and, although the food was good, the tables were dirty and (bizarrely) the host told us the half empty restuarant was 'fully booked'. Also, the lighting in our room was broken, the only way to have light was to keep the harsh overhead light on. The receptionist promised to send a service person but...

“Good afternoon , Well it is for me now I’m home ! I cannot believe the complete disruption caused and the uncaring receptionists you have at your hotel ! Where to start! The dogs in the carpark yapped and barked all night which I reported early Fri eve it started early and continues. I had to close the windows making a vert warm room so I went to put on my fan for it to be broken. I asked reception for another to be told it would be done while I was out for dinner. On return no it...
