“Staff & breakfast excellent. Room was very clean but it was very hot and the drains smelt at times. This severely impacted my sleep. My rating is purely based on that, suspect if i went when it was cooler it would be different. One easy thing to help would be for the windows to be opened fully.”

“We chose to book here because it was a one night stop and reasonably priced. However, it wasn’t a great experience. Staff weren’t overly helpful, room looked tired. Gym was quite small but fine, although no water available so had to pay £2 for a can of water from the bar. Parking costs £15, but there is a huge car park behind which charges less (£9 for 18 hours or so)”

“Our room keycard was not working when we arrived - this is understandable that there can be problems. But we returned to reception 3 times and were just given new key cards which weren't working each time. It was only when we insisted that someone from reception come and try that it was admitted that the door wasn't working and maintenance was called. The maintenance man was lovely and friendly and tried his best but couldn't resolve the problem. He went back to reception and got us a different...
