“The cooked breakfast was very good but the coffee was weak. The owners were friendly and helpful. The room was motel style with guest access at the back of the property and lead out onto a road where you take a path between houses to get round to the front of the building and the car park. The owners did let us take a short cut through the pub upon check-in and check-out. The bed was comfortable and the water was hot but there was mould on the bathtub tiles and on the curtains in the bathroom...

“Wow, what a gem! This beautiful old hotel is filled with charm and character. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the private pool and hot tub—which you reserve all to yourself—felt incredibly luxurious. Breakfast was outstanding, with a wonderful selection of pastries and juices, along with delicious à la carte options. Our only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer. We hope to return one day”

“What a beautiful hotel. I stayed in a superior double which was very well appointed. The bed was very comfortable, plenty of storage space, fluffy towels, plenty of hot water and excellent tea and coffee, biscuits and water. The owners were very friendly and made me feel most welcome. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order and was delicious. You would never go hungry. The air conditioning was a real bonus, although unfortunately it did drip a little water on the floor. My only other niggles...

“We were made very welcome by John and hadall we needed for a very comfortable stay with our two dogs. There were lots of little touches that added to our good experience-including welcome bags for each dog and more than adequate continental breakfast. We would highly recommend a d stay again.
