“Nice country pub with a cozy atmosphere. Our room was great, really clean and well presented, comfy bed and pillows, en-suite bathroom with a good shower and a decent size. Owners provided a fan which was very welcome during this current heatwave. We were greeted by Jacob in reception, really helpful, polite and respectful and he showed us to our room. “This is a traditional, old-style B&B. Unfortunately it's not in great condition. The rooms are clearly part of the owner's house/living area with the reception being part of their kitchen/living room. The rooms don't feel particularly private given you're right next door to the owners rooms. The bed was clean but not the most comfy. There was no air con/fans meaning it was very warm. There was a significant amount of cob webs. The rooster woke us up at 4:20am. Cook to order breakfast was offered...

“Location was nice , the areas were a bit tired…unfortunately the spa area was a bit disappointing as the sauna kept breaking down, it needed more attention from the staff in spa and pool area… the standard room I had was clean but again need attention in maintenance the windows were dirty and broken not a very nice to see …the property needs painting..,, and they definitely need to step up with the cleaning in pool and spa areas… I enjoyed my stay ..,, but won’t be rushing back .”

“Nice bed and mattress, large room with nice furniture, and the included breakfast had a nice selection and was pretty tasty. Staff sorted early check in to let me change for a wedding, no issues. Free parking.”

“Angel Inn is close to the centre of Petworth, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a large modern bath and separate shower and everything was very clean. We appreciated the teapot in the room and selection of teas, also the complimentary flapjack. We ate in the restaurant area of the inn and had an excellent meal. ”
