“The staff were very profesional and very helpful. The hotel was very expensive for the dated decor and chipped paint and cleanliness wasn’t great The furniture was very dated as well.”

The room we stayed in was immaculate aswell and to top it all off, breakfast was absolutely superb! “Was very disappointed with the cleanliness of not just the hotel but the pub attached also. The toilets in the pub were disgusting, with no hand soap the whole 4 days of our stay. The whole place looked very worn & tired. I have know idea how on earth it’s classed as 4 stars as I would say it’s 2 at the most. How any one can rate it excellent is beyond me as it’s not even a great location! Will definitely not stay here again or consider using a Marstons inn again.”

“The staff were incredibly professional and helpful. I couldn't fault any one of them but I would mention abby particularly. The service was impeccable and the food was very food. Breakfast was so good and there was a lot of choice. We had a pool room which was perfectly positioned next to the pool which was clean with loungers and seating. I would highly recommend a visit here and we will certainly visit again.”
