“We recently stayed at this lovely cottage in Carlisle with my two children and had an amazing time. The place was spotless, cosy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The cottage had a lovely big garden with beautiful views, and there were some great walks nearby which we all enjoyed. The host was welcoming and made sure everything was just right. We would definitely love to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!”

“This is an excellent hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and I noticed how conscientious and hard-working the restaurants and bar staff were in particular. The food in the restaurant was excellent. I enjoyed a delicious roast tomato soup and local ice cream. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in a long time in a hotel. “Wij werden bij aankomst hartelijk welkom geheten door Adèle. We waren iets te vroeg, maar dat was geen probleem. Na een gezellige korte kennismaking, kregen we een prachtige, schone en grote kamer. Adèle heeft alles goed voor elkaar en levert kwaliteit: parkeervergunning voor de auto, een heerlijk ontbijt met keuzemogelijkheden: wij vonden het top! Op loopafstand van het centrum dus echt een aanrader!”

“Recently refurbished, rooms were clean and fresh and kept the original features of the property. Bathroom was lovely and bath a great size although did miss the option of grabbing a quick shower. Bathroom needs a blind or curtain please otherwise stunning room.”
