“We have stayed here before two years ago so we’re aware in March it can be cold in the cottage - which it was-so the log burner is a big plus. Kitchenware had a fine layer of dust over it so we had to wash everything before use, which was disappointing. But overall the location, character and charm made up for it with easy access to The Cleveland Way walking trail - which we were doing. Also good bus service.”

“Beautiful location ”

“We stayed for two nights in the Marrakesh suite and loved it. A huge comfy bed, air conditioning, mini fridge, lots of storage and a large TV. Upstairs is a large jacuzzi bathroom complete with bathrobes and slippers. The host, Debbie was fantastic, she always seemed to be on duty and was very helpful. Breakfast was very good with a huge selection and could be taken in the dining room or in your suite.”

“What a suprise , I don’t think the this hotel was advertised well enough, a beautiful property in large well maintained grounds, friendly , polite staff, good breakfast and so clean, nowhere was overlooked, I will recommend and definitely come again.”

“Would have preferred not to have had a basement room and a room in the main hotel but the room was lovely anyway. Dinner in restaurant disappointing but the it is a hotel and not a private restaurant. We couldn't go out to it because it was storm Buleo.”
