“To say it was above a pub it was very quiet, the room looks like it’s just been refurbed, Room 3, new toilet, shower etc. the breakfast choice was great and quality second to none. The staff were great, there when you needed them, out of sight when you didn’t. Very homely feel and will 100% book again. The Wi-Fi dies drop out at times but I guess it’s where the property is situated and not the pubs fault. Overall 10/10 for me. Perfect spot, clean and comfortable, friendly staff and...

“We have stayed here before two years ago so we’re aware in March it can be cold in the cottage - which it was-so the log burner is a big plus. Kitchenware had a fine layer of dust over it so we had to wash everything before use, which was disappointing. But overall the location, character and charm made up for it with easy access to The Cleveland Way walking trail - which we were doing. Also good bus service.”

“The facilities are being added to : restaurants etc. our room, themed room: Cape Town was decorated to good standard. The best breakfast, parking and access was very good. Staff were cheerful and very helpful. It was great experience and would go again Thanks to all the staff.”

“Precioso hotel, solitario, aunque cerca de sitios por visitar y de las carreteras principales. Si quieres dejar el coche ahí, tienes que cenar en el hotel, porque no hay nada más en las inmediaciones como para ir caminando. ”
