“Tienen varias casas a modo de hotel pero no lo indican en la reserva. Es mas bien casa de huespedes. Calidad del sueño muy buena y cama comoda. Baño pequeño. Alojamiento tipico inglés Mucha luz en habitacion sin cortinas opacas. No ascensor”

“Had a wonderful stay for 3 nights in August. The hotel is beautifully located over looking a beautiful large sandy beach. Although there were many kids staying, it didn’t feel over run (other than a few overzealous dads throwing their small kinds over their heads in the indoor pool, which was a little unnerving)! The hotel was built in 1959 and looks a bit dated from the outside. However, inside it has been tastefully refurbished, though in keeping, and the facilities very good were up to spec....

“This was the culmination of a self-promise made 11 years ago. Then, we had afternoon tea on the patio, but can’t remember how we discovered Portloe. We said we should stay here if we ever visit Cornwall again. Fast forward to now; an unexpected opportunity to re-visit Cornwall. And it came to pass. Our stay did not disappoint- the quirky corridors to our room, the spectacular views from the windows, the bright and airy restaurant and the opportunity (again) to observe a lone fisherman working on...

“Fantastic location, easy walk into Newquay, lovely clean room with a great sized balcony and sea/beach view. Staff were very friendly and helpful and we definitely would stay again”
