Great hotel. Very impressed by my first time in Cornwall. Lovely setting very near to the city centre. Staff were very welcoming and friendly throughout the stay from check-in to departure. We stayed for week in a Garden Room during a visit to Cornwall with my wife during a heat-wave. The room was large and airy with two bathrooms. The staff had put a large fan in the room and it was running when we went in and it kept the room at a comfortable temperature during the stay. We had breakfast every morning included. The service was quick and efficient with helpful, friendly and polite staff, the food and choice were excellent. There was plenty of parking at the hotel and the bar was great with a cool outside seating area. There was complimentary Wi-Fi in the room and it was acceptable, albeit a bit slow. This was the only slight negative about the accommodation and I am being particularly picky as otherwise the experience was fantastic. The hotel and surroundings were lovely and we were very glad we picked this hotel for what was a fantastic stay in Cornwall.
