“Easy check in at the bar, our room was small but fine for us, the only thing lacking is a mini fridge. The hosts and locals are great, friendly and down to earth people. The food is excellent and they serve well kept beers at a reasonable price. I would definately reccomend this place and we will stay again. 👍🇬🇧 ”

“Todo bien, el staff bien, la ubicacion es genial!! Solo las condiciones del colchon del sofacama no son las mejores y el deposito que solicitan, aun no me lo han desbloqueado son 100£, espero lo hagan pronto 🙏 ”

“The property is on the ground floor with about 3 steps to the door itself, check in was a breeze with a lockbox and codes provided for entry into the building. The flat is located 5-7mins from The centre of York and the taxis into the centre are all reasonably priced. The flat was clean and tidy and even had some milk in the fridge for a cuppa to save a walk to the shops. Parking is directly outside the flat with no issues to find a space. Only niggle on a great stay was the doors having a life...

“Beautiful apartment, had everything we needed for a one night stay and a close walk to city centre, would definitely stay again.”

“Very nice clean apartment, had everything we needed. It is small but would be perfect for a couple. We managed as a family of 4 and its in a great location not far from York. Bed is super comfy. We had a lovely time.”

“Very friendly reception from the landlord Gareth who provided a most enlivening atmosphere in the Duke of Wellington ie a darts match for the men and Easter wreath making for the ladies. No food unfortunately but we found an excellent Italian restaurant in nearby Northallerton. The courtyard room was clean and comfortable, marred only by a very awkward shower - not easy to enter, due to lack of space.”

“A very central location, ideal place to stay for centre of York”

“Location worked well for us. Small room with en-suite. Out the back for a country pub. Ample parking nearby. Room not great at keeping noise out - could hear footsteps overhead from residents upstairs and voices carried across the count yard late at night. As it was warm needed to windows open so more easily disturbed by noise. The bed was super creaky too, which was annoying and disturbing in the dead of night! Convenient and suitable for a location/budget stay. Friendly staff and looked like a...

“Completely disappointed about this place. The rate we paid establish a charge of 60 pounds for cleaning concept. Well, clearly they are not using this money for such porpuse. I can not believe the state of that duvet, dust on the appliances and the exhaust vents, stained carpets and crumbs on the counter. Lucky the bathroom was acceptable and we did not use the kitchen or the fridge at all.”

“La ubicación es muy buena, estas a pocas cuadras de todos los puntos turísticos de York. El departamento es muy espacioso y que tenga dos baños es buenísimo. Sin embargo tiene problemas de limpieza. Toda el area de la cocina y el living estaban bastante sucias. También había un problema de polillas, por lo que llamar a un fumigador no seria una mala idea. El wifi es decente. Tiene una extraña decoración pero supongo que eso es cuestión de gustos. La relación precio calidad es mala así que no...

“After funding the lock box (will need the What3Words app) otherwise is difficult to find) Is just opposite the car park entrance for this building. The apartment is very clean and a very good welcome pack. The coffee pods were really nice. There are 3 fans and also an portable air-com unit which was amazing to have in the warm weather. This made the apartment comfortable. On suite toilet has a large walk in shower which was also very good. Everything you need is there and more. Beds are...

“The property is in a great location, but is not kept in a great shape. Beds were super uncomfortable, you cold feel the mattress springs pooking you. The bathroom really need basic updates, a clean, mold free shower curtains would be enough ”

“Shocking property Dirty and unfit for people to stay Completely misleading pictures Incorrect information regarding housekeeping, parking etc”
