“Lovely room in the detached cottage. Nice garden to sit in. Nice breakfast and helpful staff”

“A splendid setting for a comfortable overnight stay and enjoyable breakfast. Although they do not cater for evening meals, we were directed to the Joiner's Arms restaurant a mile away that provided a nice meal with pleasant atmosphere.”

“Great stay in a great location.”

“Pub encantador tradicional. Las habitaciones rurales tienen lo suficiente para descansar. El wifi no va muy bien. Patio trasero agradable. Desayuno cocinado tradicional.”

“The only good thing about the property was the location. The room was clean, but very uncomfortable with low beds, no remote for the TV , a broken chair, and the slow stream of shower water was far too hot. There were none of the luxuries advertised, nor was the basement set up to eat/drink as advertised. Common areas were not clean or well maintained. The owners are clearly trying to sell the property.”

“Recommend. Would stay again definitely”

“Recently completed refurbishment to a high standard of finish, with ample space and facilities.”

“Bathroom smelled really really bad, like there were drainage problems and the fire alarm triggered in my room at 5:40 for no reason waking everyone in the block - pub is fantastic though!”

“Fabulous bed and breakfast with superb food - a huge and delicious breakfast. All food in the restaurant was amazing. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely comfortable and clean room and very comfortable bed. Loved our stay here. Train station is less than a 5 minute walk away.”

“Loved the courtyard, very helpful owner with all requests, spotless room, good location.”

“Will not be returning, staff not helpful at all, dog friendly but couldn’t even let the dog have a sausage at breakfast as they had ran out, they had also ran out of biscuits for the room, garden peas and orange juice. Not a cheap nights stay so these things should not be running out!! Best staff were the morning we were leaving, had they had been on all weekend it would have made it a more pleasant stay”

“Excellent.”

“The room had everything I needed and more - with complimentary items on top.”
