“El hotel no tiene ascensor, es incómodo el acceso para personas con movilidad reducida. Las imágenes de la habitación al hacer la reserva en la web no correspondían con la habitación definitiva. En ese sentido muy decepcionada; optas por un hotel por unas características que al final no corresponden con la realidad. Es entonces cuando la calidad/precio no están equilibradas.”

“The room was clean, shower very powerful, needs a non slip tray, which I have suggested to the team. Bar very well stocked, although the day I arrived they had run out of sherry. I only dined on the first day, very good, pub style food, if a trifle expensive as compared to say the Exeter Inn in Modbury. Breakfast was good, service fine, staff friendly and efficient. ”

“Sumptuous beds a mile high with pillow soft toppers and silken sheets. Staff lovely, restaurant nice. Had rear room so no sea view but still nice open field to caravan site and balcony a 6pm sun trap, perfect for a pre dinner read. The extras the hotel offer make it fabulous; a room to store paddle board, lending you wetsuits, beach and picnic stuff etc. Car park busy (July) but nice chaps managing to help everyone. South Sands in front of you, rather challenging hill to next door North Sands...

“Room and bed comfortable, walk in shower, table top ironing board and iron were very useful prior to a family wedding. Green table cafe on site is really good. Also The White Hart provided hotel breakfasts. Staircases were a little fusty with an odd air freshener to compensate. Its an old listed building so to be expected but might smell fresher if the stair carpets were steam cleaned and better air fresheners. Beautfiul location. “This was a lovely Hotel breakfast was great Full English or Continental or you could ask for other things EG I had poached eggs on English Muffin which was lovely. We also had two evening meals which were just as enjoyable Really enjoyed our stay. The only thing I was disappointed with was the price of parking £15 a day was very steep especially being a quest at the hotel and having a disabled husband not being able to take advantage of free disability parking for our entire stay with on...

“Staff & breakfast excellent. Room was very clean but it was very hot and the drains smelt at times. This severely impacted my sleep. My rating is purely based on that, suspect if i went when it was cooler it would be different. One easy thing to help would be for the windows to be opened fully.”
