“The hotel is in a beautiful and restful setting. The staff could not have been more helpful. The restaurant food was brilliant. We enjoyed seeing the peacocks and other birds in the grounds.”

“The property doesn't have its own parking. There is free parking available on the street parallel to the entrance but this wasn't clear from the description.
I appreciated the keyless nature of the accommodation. The gate lock can be a bit tricky to open.
The room was clean and the bathroom was fantastic.
They provide some food in the small lounge but I couldn't see anything gluten free.”

“The Pack Horse is a lovely old pub with friendly staff that were most helpful. We stayed 1 night, the room was comfortable and was ideal for our stay. They also provided plenty of tea and milk which was a bonus.
The only downside is they do not do food but there is a fish & chop shop or takeaway that you can order and bring into the pub to eat.”

“A good location for us with plenty of parking. Room was clean, but ours had a very tired bed mattress which really needed replacing. The staff were all very friendly and helpful during our stay and food and drinks were all reasonably priced.”

“There is a lot that is exceptionally good about the hotel. The staff are extremely helpful , the food and drinks of high standard and the spa area very good. The only slight downsides were poor WiFi although this seems to affect the whole village when we visited. We’d love to come back.”

“the staff were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The biggest wow was their amazing menus for breakfast an evening meal. All cooked to perfection and every bit the epitome of careful professional presentation and flavour.
Definitely returning to this jewel in south Hams of Devon.”

“Solo me arrepiento de no haber reservado más noches. El SPA está genial y tiene un horario muy amplio.”
