“Loved the old 17th century beams in the rooms and the uneven floors. Property was very quiet - even with the Football World Cup semi-final on while we were there. Staff were all incredibly helpful and loved the breakfast. 100% recommend and would love to take my dog next time as they are very dog friendly (they get a sausage at breakfast!).”

“We got to this property by chance. What a fun surprise. It is an old but very well kept inn. It has many beautiful hikes around. It is in the middle of nowhere. And that makes it even more fantastic. ”

“A nice stay. Staff were really helpful; particularly accommodating food allergies. Pets were welcome in the pub itself as well as the room that had been booked. Nice little added extras like dog treats in the room and dog beds provided. Breakfast was nice too - hot options + selection of cereals and toast.”

“It is a lovely unique building of great history . Unfortunately on a Thursday night they had various things not available on the menu including the Cheeseboard and no Merlot wine and no port left. The staff were not very friendly . They did their job is about it. Where we had breakfast was a fly paper which had been there maybe years with dead flies stuck to it .
