Photo "Tower Mill, Hagworthingham In 1816 the mill had common sails. In 1853 it had patent sails, which were retained until the early 1940's. The cap and two remaining sails were taken off and a strange roof put on in 1950. Since then the tower has fallen into ruinous state. All the machinery remained in 1974, although the floors were becoming dangerous.
