Stayed for 2 nights and the hotel was excellent with lovely, friendly staff. The room was big, spotlessly clean and the bed was so comfortable. The food was also very good. Thoroughly recommend staying at The Admiral Rodney.

Good hotel for the money, spacious car park at the rear. On our arrival we were given a room on the 1st floor overlooking the main road, the traffic noise was terrible and the bed was AWFUL the mattress was lumpy and needed replacing, we hardly slept ! We complained to 'Jenny' in reception (she was amazing a truly first class exemplary staff member) and she moved us to another room at the other side of the hotel overlooking the car park, it was lovely and we had a great second night. Restaurant was good quality and service was great.

Mostly really great, bathroom disappointing

Excellent, friendly staff. Amazing meal one night, superb breakfasts. Room was great with a super comfy bed. Let down by the bathroom - inaccessible towel rail for 2 people’s towels, shower head squirts everywhere and dreadful shower curtain that still soaked the floor. Would still stay again and would recommend, just such a shame about the dated and tired bathroom.

The whole experience was excellent. Reception was warm and friendly, the lady couldn't have been more helpful and cheerful, and this led to a wonderful stay, we would love to return and recommend this hotel to everyone who would like a very comfortable night in a spotlessly clean room which offered every possible guarantee of a quiet, safe and happy stay

Nice little hotel with character in the centre of Horncastle. Fitted our needs perfectly. Floors a bit creaky as expected of an old building but nice service and bar/restaurant downstairs. Reasonably priced as well. Family rooms have a double and 2 single beds.
