“I stayed overnight at The Regency Hotel for the 80s night. The event was great. When I first went in I was given a room that hadn’t been cleaned. The reception was prompt to provide a new room which was close by. This was a lovely room but I found out later that it was the incorrect room. I had paid for a standard double room but was given the single occupancy room which was a cheaper style. I am currently waiting for the manager to get in contact as queried this when I vacated the room. ...

“This review is split into two parts, one for the room and one for the restaurant. The restaurant was the good part of the experience, with friendly staff who were happy to accommodate a late request for a table & the food was excellent and well priced. My room (room 12) was not great. There is no lock from the inside, just an external handle which doesn't turn to prevent entry without a key. Rooms were spacious and immaculate and the breakfast in the morning had a very large selection of things to eat as well as a cooked to order breakfast. Everything was great...recommend to anyone”
