“Convenient location but felt fully immersed in the countryside. A beautifully maintained country house hotel with a warm welcome from an attentive team. We lunched from the bar menu and dined in the restaurant, both delicious. The spritz cocktails are heaven in a glass Wonderfully comfy bed and beautifully furnished rooms. Thoroughly recommended”

“The check in was chaotic, I.e. no room number or lockbox instruction until after check in time, then no key in the lockbox and no telephone number to call to discover what to do next. ”

“I requested breakfast but was told they didn’t do it anymore. The stairs were cramped with 2 turns and inadequate/absent rails. We did not meet any staff. There was a note saying how we could ring them. The hot and cold water at the wash basin were plumbed in the wrong way round. I did not see any indicator for which was hot or cold. It matters because this is where you fill the kettle. The bed was comfortable and the room was warm.”

“This review is split into two parts, one for the room and one for the restaurant. The restaurant was the good part of the experience, with friendly staff who were happy to accommodate a late request for a table & the food was excellent and well priced. My room (room 12) was not great. There is no lock from the inside, just an external handle which doesn't turn to prevent entry without a key. The layout is odd, with a little corridor to the bathroom which whilst clean is still very worn and...

“Had a great stay here whilst attending a nearby wedding. The hostess Vicky was very helpful. flexible and friendly. Rooms were spacious and immaculate and the breakfast in the morning had a very large selection of things to eat as well as a cooked to order breakfast. Everything was great...recommend to anyone”
