Vacations Close To Smart Center

Traveling with my young daughter - the property is tucked back in a quiet private area. I liked that I was able to lock both screen doors in addition to the front keypad lock for a piece of mind with safety (anywhere I go traveling just the two of us) property was cute, clean, and perfectly located. Parking was easy. My only advice is KCUP coffee pods & additional creamer for my coffee in the morning, so I didn’t have to DoorDash! Otherwise I would definitely stay here again!

Our next trip to Columbus we will definitely stay at the Hollywood Casino Hotel again. Ultra modern, clean, beautifully furnished rooms. The hotel of course was built connected to the casino which also provides on site access to their wonderful, fairly priced restaurants !! Can’t wait to go back!!

BLACK MOLD...We stayed at Hyatt House in Columbus, OH for 1 night in October 2026, and I wish I could get those nights back. The first thing we noticed in the bathroom wasn’t the towels or the toiletries. It was black mold creeping along the shower grout. This wasn’t a speck someone missed. It had clearly been growing for a while, which tells you everything about how often that room actually gets cleaned. A bathroom is the one place in a hotel room you should be able to trust. Showering a foot away from visible mold is not “rustic charm.” It’s a health hazard, and anyone with asthma, allergies, or a weak immune system should think twice before booking here. For what this room cost during Ohio State parents weekend, you should expect management to fix the bathrooms before they take another reservation. Travelers, spend your money elsewhere.

Had a great stay at the Sonesta Downtown Columbus! The room was excellent, very clean, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly, helpful, and provided great service throughout our stay. Overall, a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting downtown Columbus!

Upon our arrival we realized that the staff / danger gave away our Ada room. Unacceptable as I was unable to use the restroom for the first thing we were there until they could get us into another room. Handicap rooms are a necessity for me. Manager offered me 3,000 points. Not acceptable
