“The location was excellent for our visit to Breighton 1940s weekend, only 12 minutes away. The cottage was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good quality and presented well. Only problem was the wine on the second night was not very nice but the waitress changed it for us without question and this is something that can happen so not a big problem and did not spoil the weekend. Great that you can park outside the cottage safely.”

“Guys we are in the middle of a heat wave I said it’s appresive in the room came back after work the next day still no fan in the room Don’t stay here if there is a heat warning - also didn’t help having the maintenance team scrapping banging under my room after the first night. Would I stay again - yes if there’s air con - staff have been very good.”

“Great stay great staff look forward to staying again”

“The double room was clean & fresh but the 'standard' size double bed does not compare well with the more usual 'queen' size provided in hotels in this price range. The staff were brilliant ambassadors for the hotel - Maisie & Jenny in particular - always attentive, always happy to engage with guests, always thinking ahead to anticipate the needs of their guests. “Good property just that the last night our room was not clean.”

“Lovely modern hotel with nice rooms but never saw any staff at the desk throughout the stay, also wouldn't recommend staying in the summer, the windows are sealed shut and our room was very uncomfortable because of the heat. Easily one of the worst nights I've had in a hotel because of the heat and humidity in the room despite leaving the fan on, don't know how they expect people to cope in the summer.”
