“Bloody Marvellous From the lovely warm welcome when we arrived to the fantastic breakfast just before we left everything was perfect. The room was lovely but what really made the difference was the wonderful team. The chefs should be made a saints as they worked miracles. See you all again”

“This was our first visit to see what it was like to give us future options and to compare it with Doxford Hall where we usually stay for short breaks. We are sorry to give only 4 stars for this particular stay, the property and room quality were both excellent as were the staff we interacted with but the stay was let down by a problem with shortage of kitchen staff due to illness. “Very average. Breakfast poor, not much choice and food poorly presented and stored.”

“The meals were excellent both for quality and price, staff very helpful. The bed was comfortable however the windows did not close entirely. It was quite warm so not a major problem for us but the windows needed refurbishment so they be opened or closed easily. The electric shower was very weak. These issues were relatively minor given the pluses of staff, food and comfortable beds”
