“Great location. Friendly staff. Good food and drink choices. Site is lovely with lots of space to sit and enjoy scenery. The room was basic, which would have been fine had it not been let down by poor house keeping. Beds and towels were changed and that was it. There was an orange film on shower tray which we scrubbed off. There was a goo under soap the whole time. Glasses which were used and dirt in first day remained in room dirty the whole time. “The room was lovely. Room 5. It had a refurbishment. It was like staying in a country cottage. It was very clean. Tea/coffee making facilities. Good selection of breakfast you could have. Full english was very tasty. The staff were polite. The bar was a bit pricey along with the food.”

“Garden Suite was lovely and beautiful bathroom (with TV screen set in the tiles!) Lovely quality breakfast. Allowed to leave dog in room, but not to take him into breakfast which was understandable. Our dog kicked off barking and we couldn't leave him. Massive thanks to Caroline in the dining room as she accomodated as seperately in a room overlooking the gardens so we could bring our dog with us into breakfast!”
