“The Dundas Arms is a warm welcoming hotel in an interesting setting between canal and river on the edge of a lovely village. The room was well appointed with a comfortable bed. The restaurant was busy with good service and a good menu of delicious food. The staff are exceptionally friendly and efficient. “Good size rooms with a balcony . Comfy beds . Tea and making coffee facilities. Some rooms allow dogs if you book ahead. Excellent choice for breakfast.”

“Staff were lovely. Had a long drive and arrived on the cutoff for ordering dinner, but thankfully the staff were kind enough to still let us order. We had both dinner and breakfast, both were absolutely delicious. There was some games we could borrow which we enjoyed playing in the bar, only small disadvantage is the bar closed at 10:30. Room was very clean, stocked with tea and coffee and the extra pillows in the wardrobe was a nice addition. Overall, we had a very peaceful, relaxing stay.”

“Very quaint pub in a quiet village - but full of life and character, obviously popular with locals and visitors alike. The staff were super friendly. Food was great. Our room was unique and full of old pub charm including sloping floors, but it was super clean, bed was comfortable and bathroom was well appointed.”

“We were looking for an overnight stop travelling back North from Southampton and came across here. There was a big extension being built to the front of the pub so parking was difficult but otherwise caused no inconvenience. We had 3 rooms and all were very comfortable and well equipped . What stood out about this place was the staff, all were genuinely lovely and friendly. Checked in and personally shown to our rooms. We ate at the pub and the food was quickly served and was simply delicious...

“We stayed here one night as my niece was getting married and having her wedding venue just down the road in the village Hall. The room was lovely, very clean and every thing you would need, to a very high standard. We didn’t eat there so I can’t comment on that.”
