“The staff were very helpful and accommodating, assisting with calling taxis and holding luggage. The included breakfast was tasty and plentiful, the only drawback was it ended at 9:00am. Our shared family room was a nice size with two televisions and good wifi but in the height of summer it got a little warm. The location is beautiful and relaxing.”

“Lovely stay, just a few yards from the sea front. Lisa and Christophe made us feel very welcome. The swimming pool was great and just what you need after a long drive or busy day around Torbay. The breakfasts we enjoyed each morning were delicious and kept us full throughout the day. Would definitely return and highly recommend a stay at the lovely Charterhouse if you're looking for somewhere to stay in Torquay.”

“Great welcome, lovely room with luxury extras like chocolate and toiletries.
Hosts were so helpful, I struggled with the heat so they ensured our room was kept cool and gave me a beach brolly to use. The location was good, not too near centre but an easy 20 minute walk to the seafront and shops.
Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfasts were fab, will definitely be returning.”

“Hotel nuevo, con excelentes acabados (en Inglaterra muchos sitios acostumbran a estar anticuados o con aspecto de abandono). Muy bien situado, a pocos minutos en coche del centro de ocio de Torquay y zona de restauración.”
