“The location is remote, peaceful and lovely. It's an old building and full of character with huge, comfortable rooms. All the staff were helpful. Breakfasts were a little limited, but adequate. We didn't enjoy the one dinner we had, but it was good value. Overall I'd recommend this hotel for its excellent value accommodation and location.”

“Ideally situated for visiting Port Talbot and the Gower peninsular area. The hotel was very clean, all staff very friendly and helpful (no problem each morning getting my gluten free toast) and even the basic room is lovely and spacious. Loads of parking right outside. Breakfast buffet has a good selection of foods from fruit/cereals/cooked options and sweet pastries. The only slightly annoying thing though, is it's just off the M4/A48 junctions, so does mean if a light sleeper it can be a...

“Reception staff were excellent. TV in room didn’t work. Pool area was very clean. The restaurant for breakfast was very good but service in the evening wasn’t very good, no cutlery, no salt on the table, getting staff attention was hard work but appreciate there was training of new staff.”

“Beautiful property a real home from home. There was everything we needed and it was beautifully clean and well presented. We would definitely stay again and for longer next time.”

“Room seriously needed an update. Hand held shower in the tub is poor in this day and age. Food was good - had dinner both days and was well presented and tasty. Staff were very polite and efficient!”

“The outside tables could do with replacing. Accommodation was good but the bedside lamps didn’t work and toilet roll holder needs replacing.The food was excellent and restaurant is very well presented but the inner door from the conservatory closed with a loud bang that we could hear clearly from our room.”
