“I stayed there because I had to visit some customers really close. It seems like this place it's more for weddinds or other celebrations than for staying in. The service was not helpful at all. Breakfast it's included but there was a team of people just chatting and nobody came to explain what could I order. I had to go and ask and they were not kind at all. I won't definitely come back.”

“The room, a junior suite, was most comfortable but sadly lacking in air-conditioning, although the current heat wave has been exceptional. Lovely views, peaceful, apart from the noise of the butterflies, all that one could wish for. For the price the owners may want to consider replacing the square of soap with refillable pump dispensers and providing a loo brush! We had an enjoyable dinner served by the very friendly staff and were delighted to have our breakfast served, not a buffet,...

“My stay at Horsley Lodge was fantastic. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left the staff were outstanding . I stayed in the Barn cottage and I cannot recommend it highly enough, the same goes for the food that comes out of their kitchen. “The hotel was very clean. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Never stayed at a Days Inn before but would certainly stay with them again. Although the hotel was on the m1 we didn’t hear any traffic noise. There was no restaurant at the hotel but services was next door”

“We had a fantastic stay at The Family Tree. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was lovely, clean and quiet. And the breakfast was amazing! Just a few minutes’ drive from the Tramway Museum, or a lovely 40-minute walk along the canal to the Hurt Arms in Ambergate. In the end, we were sorry that we were only staying the one night; wish we could have stayed longer. We will absolutely stay here again the next time we’re in Derbyshire!”
