“We stayed here last weekend with our in-laws to visit family and the hotel was perfect for what we needed. The staff are really nice, I can only mention by name Jonathan on reception who was very helpful but all the other staff on reception were also lovely as well as the bar staff and chambermaids. “The Lairds House is a unique place to stay. It has an historic charm and well furnished hotel rooms. I also ate there and the meal was good, but did suffer from an upset stomach after. In the morning as a result I had a very simple breakfast, avocado on toast which was slightly below par. My main concern was having booked through Expedia there was a dog fee which wasn’t clear of £15.
