“It's been a decade since I have been to the Windjammer, but after my stay it feels like I never stopped going. It's been a tradition in my family to go once a year for a week during the summer when I was a kid from 3 years old to 23. Now I am 33, with kids of my own... And I'm so back! It's just like I remembered, the rooms have been updated a little, new countertops in the suites and a bigger fridge, new couch and new beds. All welcome changes. “We booked this hotel for one night through Hotels.com, but were never informed that late check-in was unavailable after 11:30 pm. Our flight was delayed, and made it to the hotel at 3am. Upon reaching the hotel we found all doors closed and no one at the front desk. Despite repeatedly calling and waiting outside in the cold for over 30 minutes, no staff member appeared.
