Vacations Close To Savonet Museum Curaçao

Although not a resort or on the beach. Kura Botanica is in a prime location. You’re in Kura Hulanda village in downtown Otrabanda, Tons of restaurants, a gelato shop next door, bars, art, shops and a museum nearby. Meters away from Queen Emma’s bridge, Riff Fort. The staff were friendly and helpful, the pool was a nice spot to relax and there a bar by the pool area. We paid for the breakfast and are glad we did. The breakfast area is located at the Freedom cafe which is like 4/5min walk away (not hard to find you can also use google map). For breakfast they had: scrambled and boiled eggs you could also request an omelette, fruits, oatmeal, breads, croissants, sausage, pastries, cereal, coffee, tea, juice… there was something for everyone You can walk across the floating pontoon bridge to get to Punda right across the water or take the ferry when the bridge is closed, there are also many stores as well as crafts shop located in that area. Plasa Bieu is a must go for truly local cuisine in Punda but make sure to go early. It’s the perfect location if you don’t plan on renting a car. And if you do rent a car opt for a compact, the streets are narrow.

We had a fantastic vacation. The food and beverages were really good and the service was amazing. We would definitely book again at this property.

The beach is beautiful, very clean with lots of chairs available . Unfortunately there is no bar service close to the beach and no staff come around to take orders, so you have to walk quite far to the main pool area to get a cocktail. The rooms are very outdated and furniture, drapery and bed skirt is very old and shows its wear. The bathroom is very old, dark and dingy. Restaurants are open air except for one which is only open for dinner. Buffet listed theme nights on the app but it was not followed. Food selection was just ok.

Cute place walkable to Punda. Staff was ok. We definitely didn't get the overly friendly, helpful staff others mentioned. We arrived with 2 family members who had also booked a stay so we could vacation together, upon arrival they were told their was no room available for them and they were being moved several buildings down to a completely different hotel. They knew we had all planned to stay at the hotel together so they brought us over to the other hotel for a tour to see if we would like to stay there with our family. Once that was over we were told they would not move us to the sister hotel unless we paid a $2500 upcharge which was completely outrageous and they wouldn't even discuss any type of discount. So we spent our family vacation in 2 separate hotels. Definitely won't be returning
