It took about 20 minutes of waiting for a staff member to come check us in for our stay. We pressed the button on the phone and called the hotel and finally someone came to the desk. The hotel was understaffed for the night and the employee seemed overwhelmed. She was very nice and pleasant when checking us in. No problems with our room at all. Breakfast was also fine. When we went to check out we had to press the call button again because the employee was not at the front desk.

The room keys seem to get demagnetized very easily and multiple people were locked out of the back building through out the stay. Our room had a faint but undeniable scent of cigarette smoke, the hotel was at full capacity and we couldn’t change rooms. The staff promptly brought up a room spray that removed the smell. Our room was clean, the jacuzzi tub looked dated but well maintained. Our refrigerator did have food and alcohol left from the guest before us, so cleaning staff should check that when turning over the room.
