We stayed here for the first part of our honeymoon, and it was perfect! The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and specious and the AC was amazing for how hot it was! The property is very well maintained, the pool is lovely and we very much enjoyed the restaurant for breakfast and dinner a few nights.
While we loved the quiet location, it is about a 15 minute drive to downtown Florence, so cabs back and forth can get expensive. Regardless, it was an absolutely wonderful stay and would recommend!

More quiet residential area of Firenze
in walking distance of center but away from the crowds. No elevator and two flight of stairs.

Air conditioning was unacceptable. It was 96 degrees in Florence (36C) the whole week. The room was 81F (27.4C) when we arrived. The A/C was intentionally neutered to blow air at the lowest setting and the room never cooled down below 79F (26C). Absolutely ridiculous to sweat out your paying customers. Stay somewhere else!

Lovely hotel away from the busy centre of Florence. Plunge pool was a definite plus after a hot day of seeing the sites.
