Vacations Close To San Gregorio State Beach

Spent one night at this hotel with family as a break between flights from Hawaii to UK. The shuttle bus (not pre booked) was to time and picked us up with no problems from SFO. Location of hotel is right in front of the bay opposite the runways so great if you are a bit of a plane geek (like me and my daughter) - make sure you book a rear room overlooking the bay! Not many eateries around so we ordered in dominos to deliver as it was 10 pm when we arrived and they let us eat in the lobby. Breakfast was superb - plentiful and nice touches such as fresh waffles. Overall couldn’t fault it

The only issue we had was the quality of the mattress on the sofa bed. There were springs sticking out and it couldn’t be used. We were able to get a cot that was comfortable but we booked a suite especially for the 3rd person.

The engineer on duty Jay came to our room due to a banging noise that occurred each time the AC turned on. He was able to troubleshoot and fix the problem quickly. He is to be commended

Upon arriving in our room, we discovered hair left in the shower drain. Housekeeping soon cleaned it up and left the bathroom clean, but it was not a great start to the stay.

Beautifully renovated and perfectly quiet. Would definitely stay here again!
