I checked in with my family on friday 4/4 in the evening and the front desk employee was very helpful and he went out of his way to make sure i had a parking spot right in front of the hotel entrance.

I really liked the structure and clean environment it offered, the staff was super friendly and welcoming and the area was nice in the heart of downtown. my stay was very satisfying. I will book this hotel in the future :)

Hotel Vertigo Nice Place to Stay

The hotel is a really nice place to stay. It is very clean and up to date. Staff was very friendly. Lots of restaurants nearby. Hotel doesn't have its own parking but there are many parking garages within three blocks of the hotel. Hotel staff can make recommendations to which are closer and reasonably priced. The hotel is located in a nice area of San Francisco.

立地は、まずまずで近くに飲食店やコンビニもあります。料金について、施設利用料や簡易な朝食(コーヒーとペイストリー)代として、１日23ドルをチェックアウトの時に請求されるので、予め十分な説明や不要とするチョイスがあると良かったです。

Funky boutique hotel, a good value.

Good location (pretty safe and centrally located.) Wonderful front desk staff (shout out to Tony!). Two big issues for me -- $23/day "amenities fee" is heavyhanded -- it's wifi, coffee and a very small gym. Also, the walls in my room (7th floor) were paper thin -- I could hear every word uttered in the next room. Also, my room was right next to the elevator -- it was very loud and really sounds like it needs servicing. A little WD40, perhaps?

The vintage look of the hotel was awesome. But the person who made the hotel even better was the front desk clerk named Sebastian, his service was excellent.

Fine if you just need a place to sleep. Very unique interior design which I enjoyed. Bathroom space was not the greatest - no counter in the sink area and shelf above the sink gets in the way of actually using the sink for thinks like washing your face. Showers could use a refresh. Occasionally no TV signal.

Disappointed ☹️

I was going to give this hotel a 10, but on the check out day, I turned the bath on for my 2yr old and there was a ROACH!!. 😞 My husband brought this issue to the reception’s attention, which by the way-we were charged for cleaning fees. I was like what? Cleaning fees??? Then the receptionist said we were going to get a refund. We didn’t.

Hidden “Urban Fees” BEAWARE!!!!

The hotel charges a $20 “Urban Fee.” They didn’t disclose this when I booked the hotel, nor when i checked in. I also stayed there two weeks ago, and, no “Urban Fee.” This must be a new scam. They said it was wifi and coffee. The coffee came in 4-5 ounce cups, and they didn’t have real cream. I contacted Hotels.com and they are ignoring me.

Pretty good for San Fran.

Walking in to the hotel is a pleasant experience. It is nicely decorated and the desk clerk was smiling and kind. The room was huge and it had a walk-in closet with a dresser in it. Also, a fridge, two robes,hair dryer, cotton balls and q-tips,shampoo,cond.,soap,lotion and coffee. The beds are small doubles, not queens. One was comfortable the other was really hard. Oh ya and a t.v. Now to the cons. It was advertised to have a cafe, which I saw in the lobby but it was shut down. At the desk the guy literally said," your card will be charged $25.00 to cover the fitness center and the FREE WIFI "!! Are you kidding? So, be aware of the hidden charges. The only bad thing about the room was no air!! The hall had air condition but when we open the room door it was hot and stuffy. There is a fan on the ceiling that I could only feel if sitting under it. The one window that would open, opened to a fire escape. This worried me for safety reasons, like is someone going to climb thru the window at night? The window is the only way to get cool air. Please keep in mind that it is down town S.F. so no hotel parking. A half a block up is a parking garage that charges $30.00 for overnight parking.

Affordable, safe, and clean !

Nice place to stay in San Francisco. Clean accommodation, friendly staff, food options nearby. We were even able to park our rental car on the street all three nights without a fee! Highly recommended.

Its ok but thin walls and a stupid resort fee

I like the location and the room is comfortable and has a mini fridge and little hot water machine which is nice. The hotel itself has paper thin walls, you will hear your next door neighbor blow their nose. Their resort fee is absolutely ridiculous so be super careful booking.
