Extremely cozy room, very comfy bed, the lotions and soaps smelled amazing and the record player in the room with a library Downstairs to choose from was a great touch! The only complaint I had was I wish one of the pillows was a little more firm for a side sleeper… I woke up with a crick in my neck. Otherwise stellar stay!

What a beautiful hotel! It has been a while since we stayed at the Gunter, and it has been completely remodeled. Everything was comfortable and clean. The coffee/tea kettle was something new, as well as a record player and a jazz album.

We could not have asked for a better stay when it came to accommodations. The room was exceptionally clean, everything was beautiful! Love the bar downstairs. Love the Paris baguette. Loved how Starbucks was walking distance across the street. The valet guys were absolutely amazing. The front desk workers were extremely nice! I would have to say it was probably the best San Antonio trip we’ve had, and we have had a lot! My only complaint is Valet parking for overnight is absolutely ‘outrageously overpriced’. $60 to valet a car plus tip is insane but… That’s my only complaint. I have absolutely nothing to complain about as far as the hotel goes.

Accidentally double booked this property and was not even informed at Check in that I had two rooms under my name paid. Was given the room for the bonvoy reservation I made only. One would assume since I gave them my name they’d have mentioned I had two rooms booked. Only realized this mistake when I received this email from Expedia for a review of the property. Also the valet literally broke the rim on my car, added air to the tire and didn’t inform me of any damage or even adding air, until I mentioned my car app sensed low pressure. Waiting for valet manager to get back and review cam footage. The hallways smelled like sewers. Our fourth floor room had a direct view of the roof. The ‘hydration stations’ had unfiltered tasting water. Very thin walls. Low quality doors to rooms. Small elevators when hotel was busy there was a line.
