The bed are on the floor there no frame , it smells so bad and nasty . The walls are dirty and carpet are outdated, there people outside homeless walking and knocking on the doors . Looks like a trap house where people hang out at . I didn’t feel safe not one bite . There was a gunshot into the walls .

Nice stay

Nice room and comfortable bed. Very spacious. Needs some updates but if your looking for just a rest, shower and sleep place this is it. Kitchenette was nice. No countertop stove though.

Rhodeway Inn and Suites was overall a decent hotel. Positives: - Room was spacious - Room Kitchen - Fridge was good - Breakfast was good - Mini Dining Table - Good A/C - Coffee Machine was good Negatives: - Room had quite a few stains on walls and door and in bathroom - Bathroom was very tiny - The light above the sink was broken but still working - Microwave was not working - Tv remote was not working for multi-function inputs - No phone in room

Not too nice

This hotel is in desperate need of a remodel. It was a very cheap price, and you pay for what you get. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms just in rough shape.

Outside of building was bad looking broken down car at front entrance. Actually sat outside the building to make sure I was at right location.Young lady was friendly. The place was not clean looking like the picture was. Will not book there again; room had stale smell. Only stay there because it was 15 min from the field my son was playing.

Staff is actually really accommodating and helpful. They aren’t bad people just trying to keep the problem areas you don’t want around to a minimum. There really is a breakfast and it’s well maintained for its age. I’m sure if their parent company choice hotels would pay they would be happy to provide more, Like fix the pool but they have to work with what they are given as well as much as the next person. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and you can’t beat the price for what you get. If your expecting the Hilton then go stay at the Hilton. Had over a dozen hotels. I’ve stayed at in the San Antonio area. This is by far the best bet I’d stay here. Any chance you get. At its price range

Sad Christmas stay

The purpose of this trip was to visit with family, rest and relax. I was looking forward to a good, long soak in a tub of Epson salts and a cup of hot tea in pleasant surroundings. Because the tub was not clean and there was no tub stopper, I was unable to have my long soak in a tub of Epson salts. Further, I was unable to enjoy a hot shower because the water temperature was more lukewarm than hot, oscillating to cool. The overall condition of the room and furnishings was 'worn-out', making it depressing to stay in. The ceiling above the entry door was water stained and looked like it might collapse at any moment. The veneer on the meal table was loose in several places and I was afraid I might snag my clothing on it.

It has a working AC and heating unit in the room and it offered a refrigerator, microwave and stove. Amenities we didn't anticipate, but definitely took advantage of. The problem was the general rooms. The walls had chipped paint, various unexplained holes, heavy stains on the couch, a nonworking toilet so everyone got to see each other's insides on the outside, baby roaches on the wall, limited towels, a beat up chipped sink, and sheets that needed stain remover and a second wash. What's more, the stairwell is uneven and the aesthetics of the building is shabby with the exit sign hanging from a wire. There was no water in the pool and there was an unexplained abandoned vehicle in the front of the building that hadn't been registered for 10 years. We showered with our Crocs on. But the bed is comfortable and it is absolutely quiet at night. It just needs a huge overhaul in renovation, paint and proper care, but at its low cost, you can't beat it.
