We booked this property through Expedia expecting a clean, comfortable, and functional home for our family. Instead, we arrived to completely unlivable conditions. The home had a severe pest infestation, specifically roaches and spiders. Furthermore, the air conditioning system was entirely broken and failing to cool the house.
Because the property lacked functioning climate control and was heavily infested with pests, it was unsafe and uninhabitable for my family, including my wife and my in-laws. We were forced to immediately check out upon arrival and pay entirely out of pocket for emergency hotel rooms elsewhere.
When we contacted Grand Welcome, we spoke with a few different representatives regarding our concerns. Ultimately, a representative named Jerome stated they would not authorize a refund, claiming their own "independent third-party technicians" found no issues with the property's condition or the air conditioning system. This response completely ignored our real-time photographic evidence and temperature logs from the duration of our stay.
Grand Welcome failed to deliver the basic services we paid for, forced us to spend hundreds in additional emergency lodging, and showed zero accountability. Do not book any property managed by Grand Welcome if you expect basic cleanliness, safety, or honest customer service
