    First things first, staff was great. The young man who seemed to be at the front desk the entire time we were there was kind, polite, and attentive. The room was spacious and cold, which is awesome. The bed was relatively comfortable. Now the not great stuff: The toilet wasn't working all that great, the light in the bathroom was dim, there was a used bandaid on the floor. The breakfast was cereal and fruit.     Interesting experience. They are in process of renovating and change in management. Breakfast was not available but they did gives us the option to cancel because of that. The guy that checked us in was friendly and gave great recommendations for the area. I would suggest to call ahead and see where they are at in their renovations.

    NOT WORTH THE STAY

    Beds are NOT queen size so if you are looking for a room with queen beds, this is not the place. Swimming pool is not usable. Roaches in one room. Mold in other rooms. Breakfast looked okay but we decided not to eat there for personal reasons. Waffle makers was filthy and gross. Staff was great!!! But they are remodeling and not worth the stay!

    The complimentary breakfast was amazing, there’s options of waffles, sausages, eggs, desserts, apple juice, orange juice, water, coffee and other breakfast cereals. The customer service was phenomenal and everyone was super kind to us. Would definitely stay again!

    Unfortunately, the elevator eas offline and my room was on the 3rd floor. There was also no breakfast as advertised on a Saturday morning. Service was great by the gentleman at the desk.

    Great stay overall.

    SUPER comfortable bed!!! Good a/c. Nice towels. Hot water and pressure was little to be desired. They were nice enough to give me late checkout since i was running the marathon that morning.

    Went to Che king and the property was not at all what the pictures looked like. Property was under construction- so no WiFi, no breakfast and no elevators. Other customers were complaining about lack of cleanliness. We got a full refund and went somewhere else. Staff was very nice and understanding about the situation.

    Staff was friendly , i felt super inconvenienced. The room was filthy , we had no towels i had to go to Walmart to get towels along with cleaning stuff to clean the room, there was rodents coming out the wall , no elevator 3 flights of stairs with lots of bags , no WiFi , no breakfast due to “new management” i checked out a day earlier because i couldn’t sleep comfortably.

    For the price it was it seems like what we received. There were stains on the bed, towels, and pillowcases. There seems to be mold growing in some places. Furthermore, there were roaches in both the room and breakfast. The service was of good quality and the people were really helpful and patient. For the price of $55 a night it was of average quality and exactly what we expected. Our biggest complait was just the cleanliness of the room.

    first day check in the lady couldn’t log in so it took a while to check in, get to room 310- smelled like mildew prob from ac, toilet clogged twice no stool, was really over it the first night, complained about toilet and they moved us to 314 and was so much better! Not the best hotel but not too worst, good for what you pay. All the staff was really cool, helpful, friendly, breakfast was just continental breakfast. Only thing is next to train so hear it early.

    This property is trash! People live on the property and hang out outside partying. The hotel looks nothing like the pictures and looks ran down and the elevator broke several times while we were there! When you first walk in the room it smells like meldew. Didn't feel safe at the property what so ever! I would never stay there again!

    Did not stay rooms were really dirty.blood in toilet bed undone. No wifi.elvator not working. No breakfast. Everything fallung apart.health hazard. I need my refund.i have pictures and a cancel number and pictures but still haven't received my refund. Why are you all giving me a hard time .even when i send pictures and refund picture from hotel.also it doesn't let me download these photos.

    Rooms comfortable

    The rooms looked to be recently refurbished and the bed was comfortable. The outside and lobby could have used an upgrade. Breakfast was less than good and coffee was poor. Night staff was not so welcoming but okay. Staffing was obviously short as there was no one at the desk when we checked out

    The room that I was "upgraded" to was a closed off room. There was blood and other things on the bed. Mold and dirt on the floor and roaches in the bathroom. The outside and side looked nothing like the pictures. The elevator was broken and the from desk stated someone stole their phone. Other hand the staff was very polit and understanding and communicated with Expedia via email about a re-fund since I didn't stay at all. I was informed by both partied that the re-fund was approved, but I still haven't received that refund.

    Friendly staff, but will not be returning

    The staff was friendly and in a quiet location, yet not far from the Riverwalk. It was a two star place and you get what you pay for. However, I was not expecting the lobby to smell moldy or for the AC in my room to not properly, it was warm at night. The smoke detector was removed and was left with wires hanging from it. The paint job and repairs that were attempted were subpar. The paint didn’t match and it looked like a kid did the job. It was affordable, but will pay a little more to stay elsewhere with better quality building.

    we booked two rooms, my room had stained sheets,no chair, broken desk chair, bathroom door broken like it was beaten to open, plastic covering the smoke detector & metal frame to the bed stuck out several inches on the side you get into bed & hurt my daughter, & smelled like water damage. 2nd room also had a broken desk chair and my son fell out of it. all things they should've noticed when preparing the room for a guest. only nice thing was the comfort of the bed.
